Application Steps

1. Submit the Online Application

Families begin by completing the online application form. This form collects essential information about:

  • Student demographics
  • Academic history
  • Language background
  • Technology access
  • Program interest (Full‑Time, Part‑Time, Tutoring, Summer, Micro‑School)

Multilingual versions of the application are available for newcomer and refugee families.

2. Family Consultation

After submitting the application, families participate in a virtual consultation with our admissions team. During this meeting, we:

  • Review the student’s academic and language profile
  • Discuss program options
  • Explain supports available for multilingual and newcomer learners
  • Answer family questions
  • Provide guidance on next steps

This consultation ensures that families feel informed and supported.

3. Academic Assessment

Students complete a brief placement assessment aligned with the GlobalCore Framework. Assessments may include:

  • Literacy and reading diagnostics
  • Math readiness checks
  • English language proficiency screening (for multilingual learners)
  • Digital readiness evaluation

These assessments help us design an individualized learning plan and ensure appropriate placement.

4. Seat Offer

Once the consultation and assessment are complete, families receive a formal Seat Offer outlining:

  • Program placement
  • Grade level
  • Tuition or financial assistance (including Refugee Access Tier eligibility)
  • Technology requirements
  • Start date

Families may accept or decline the offer.

5. Registration & Orientation

Upon accepting the seat, families complete registration and attend orientation, which includes:

  • Platform onboarding
  • Technology setup
  • Introduction to GlobalCore
  • Meeting teachers and advisors
  • Understanding mastery‑based learning
  • Reviewing expectations and supports

Orientation ensures students are ready for a successful start.
